Hi there. Thanks for visiting. My name is Leigh, and I'm a Christian, wife, and mother to three. I am a 32 year-old keeper of my home and a homeschooler. In 2007, the Lord put it on my heart to leave my job and stay home with my youngest child. It was an adjustment, to say the least. Shortly after that, He led me to homeschooling. I know it came from Him, because it is not something I would ever have considered doing on my own. My older two children finished out the year in public school, and then I brought them home. During our first year homeschooling, we moved into the countryside, onto Middle Road, which my kids jokingly call "Middle-of-Nowhere Road." These changes have been a challenge, and the Lord has done a magnificent work in my heart. Of course, He's nowhere near finished with me yet, and this is just an account of my walk with Him: a city girl trying to joyfully embrace the Lord's calling on her life and learning to love living on Middle [of Nowhere] Road.
